I was told off as a child for making up stories little did I know that one day I d earn my living by writing them To the horror of my parents, I left school at sixteen and held a bewildering variety of jobs I was a London DJ in the now trendy Primrose Hill , a decorator and a singer After that I became a cook, a photographer and, eventually, a nurse I waitressed in the south of France, drove an ambulance in Australia, saw lots of beautiful sights but could never settle down Everywhere I went I felt like a square peg until one day I started writing again and then everything just fell into place I felt like Cinderella must have when the glass slipper fit Today, I have the best job in the world, writing passionate romances for Harlequin I like writing stories which are sexy and fast paced, yet packed full of emotion stories that readers will identify with, laugh and cry along with.My interests are many and varied chocolate and music, fresh flowers and bubble baths, films, cooking and trying to keep my home from looking burglarized Simple pleasures you can t beat them I live in Winchester, one of the most stunning cities in the world, but don t take my word for it come see for yourself I regularly visit London and Paris Oh, and I love hearing from my readers all over the world so I think it s over to you

    1. Oh my! This was such a beautiful love story. Cheesy, romantic, sweet not to mention emotional. I am a sucker for unrequited love and it made me sad seeing the heroine's adoration for the hero not being returned. He was quite oblivious and in denial but he was vulnerable and I enjoyed his jealousy and possessiveness. The final chapter was without a doubt the sweetest most romantic chapter I've read! I want my own Malik!

    2. Sheikh Malik was Sorrel’s guardian. She’d come to him as a teenager and over the years, he’d never shirked his responsibility to ensure her well being. Sorrel fit so well into his calm, orderly world that Malik hadn’t realized how much time had passed. Sorrel had grown into a bright and exceptionally beautiful young woman, eager for a taste of adventures in the West! Unfortunately, Malik didn’t agree with her.Sorrel’s abrupt departure brings Malik to his senses. He never realized how [...]

    3. My favourite of the three Desert Princes. Malik, although ruthless, is more cold and emotionally distant with a sense of honour. SPOILER He didn’t discover he was in love until the end of the book and I wondered how Sharon was going to pull that off, but she did so very well END OF SPOILERI love Sharon’s voice and writing style, there’s a likeable heroine, and intensity in a fantasy setting. She writes some of the best love scenes in the Modern line-up with a high degree of sensuality and [...]

    4. I wasn't sure how to rate this. I went from 2 * to 4* and back again, settling on 3. I disliked Malik's character, but understood in part why he was the way he was. I had trouble accepting Sorrel's actions when she asked Malik to teach her about sex, yet I know why he was the one she asked.(view spoiler)[In the end, I gave it 3* because of the ending: I was crying because I love you,’ she said quietly. ‘Just the way I’ve always loved you. That’s why I went away—because you seemed to lo [...]

    5. The Sheik is stiff and does everything by protocal and his ward decides that she wants to see the place of her birth because she doesn't feel like she fits in. Absence does make the heart grow fonder as he comes to her with the excuse he wants her to follow him on the tour and use her diplomatic skills. Classic love story, she loves him, he doesn't know what love his due to his upbringing by servants because his mother died in childbirth. A fun read.

    6. Before: The only reason I am going to read this book is because I received it for free when I bought a women's magazine. Not my type, but decided to read it before getting rid of it. After: What a waste of time! Superficial. As a result of this book I am not even bothering with reading the other free books I received with magazines.
